Prayer Guideline for Hillcrest Baptist Ministry
Habakkuk 1:5
Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.
2 Chronicles 7:14
…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
The following list will help you in your prayer time as you pray for Hillcrest Baptist...
1. That the body of believers have a mission minded heart to be Christlike for the sake of others with the goals of winning people to Christ, equipping people for Christ, and sending people for Christ. That we would be united in our passion and love for God and His call for us.
2. That the body of believers would have a conviction to go before God and pray for His full potential to be unleashed.
3. That the body of believers would come and experience true worship. That God would pour out His glory and we would respond with glad hearts and with great appreciation of His indescribable gift. That more people, including unbelievers would sense His glory.
4. That more people would know, follow and apply God’s words to their life.
5. That God would send the unbelievers to our church and that they hear the truth of God’s word. That they would respond by giving their life over to Christ.
6. That the ministries of Hillcrest would be effective in increasing the Kingdom of God. That God would use ministries around the world to expand His Kingdom.
7. That God would pour out resources to help grow the potential of Hillcrest and its leaders.
8. That God’s people would experience the joy of surrendering their time, talents, treasures, and testimonies over to God and that God would pour out His blessings upon those that do.
As part of your prayer journey, I encourage you to read John 17 (The Prayer of Jesus)
